Cancellation Policy

Stayterra Properties, we aim to provide a clear, fair, and flexible booking experience for all guests. All reservations are processed exclusively through trusted platforms such as Booking.com and Vrbo.

By confirming a booking, guests agree to the terms outlined in this policy, as well as the conditions displayed on the respective booking platform and our Rental Agreement.

Payment, Cancellation & Refund Terms

1. Standard Rate

Payment Terms

  • No upfront payment required at booking
  • First-night deposit charged 7 days before check-in
  • Remaining balance charged on check-in date

Cancellation Terms

  • Free cancellation up to 7 days before check-in
  • Within 7 days: 1-night charge applies

Refund Terms

  • Eligible only if canceled 7+ days before arrival
  • Processed within 1–3 business days after approval
  • Bank processing may take up to 7 business days
  • Deposits become non-refundable within 7 days

Short-Notice Bookings

  • If booked within 7 days → deposit charged immediately
  • Immediate deposits are non-refundable

2. Promotional Rate

Payment Terms

  • Discount: up to 15% off
  • First-night deposit required within 30 days before check-in
  • Remaining balance charged on check-in

Cancellation Terms

  • Free cancellation up to 7 days before check-in
  • Late cancellation: 1-night fee applies

Refund Terms

  • Only valid if canceled 7+ days before stay
  • Processing: 1–3 business days
  • Bank timeline: up to 7 business days
  • Deposit becomes non-refundable within 7 days

Short-Notice Bookings

  • Deposit charged immediately
  • Non-refundable if booked within 7 days of arrival

3. Special Savings Rate

Payment Terms

  • Discount: up to 35% off
  • Full payment required within 30 days before check-in

Cancellation Terms

  • Free cancellation up to 7 days before check-in
  • Within 7 days: fully non-refundable

Refund Terms

  • Only applicable if canceled 7+ days before arrival
  • Refund processed within 1–3 business days
  • Bank processing up to 7 business days

Additional Flexibility

  • One-time date change may be offered (subject to availability)
  • No refund provided for modified bookings

Short-Notice Bookings

  • Full payment charged immediately
  • Non-refundable within 7 days of check-in

Guests are advised to carefully review all booking terms displayed on Booking.com or Vrbo before confirming a reservation.

Reservation Modifications

More Than 7 Days Before Check-In

  • Changes allowed (dates/property) based on availability
  • Price differences may apply

Within 7 Days of Check-In

  • Changes subject to approval
  • Additional charges may apply

Early Departure & No-Show

  • Early departure: No refund for unused nights
  • No-show: First night charged, remaining booking canceled

Security Deposits

Some properties may require a refundable security deposit:

  • Clearly stated before booking
  • Covers damages or excessive cleaning
  • Refunded within 1–3 business days after check-out (if no issues found)

Right to Cancel Reservations

Stayterra Properties reserves the right to cancel bookings in the following cases:

  • Policy Violations: Unauthorized parties or misuse of property
  • Fraudulent Bookings: False or misleading information
  • Force Majeure: Natural disasters, government restrictions, or unforeseen events

In such cases, guests will be notified and assisted where possible.

Payment Methods

All payment methods (cards, transfers, etc.) are handled securely through Booking.com and Vrbo in compliance with security standards.

Additional Fees

  • Cleaning Fee: A fixed cleaning fee may apply per booking
  • Parking: Complimentary parking available (where applicable)

Included Guest Services

  • High-speed Wi-Fi
  • Contactless check-in with secure access code
  • Essential amenities (linens, toiletries, etc.)
  • Access to property-specific facilities (pools, gyms, etc.)

Property Viewings

To protect guest privacy, pre-check-in property visits are not offered.

Each listing includes:

  • Professional photos
  • Detailed descriptions
  • Verified guest reviews

If a guest insists on viewing and declines policy terms, the reservation may be canceled with a full refund.

Travel Insurance Recommendation

We recommend guests purchase travel insurance to cover unexpected cancellations or disruptions.

Dispute Resolution

Guests should contact our support team first.
Alternatively, disputes can be handled through:

  • Booking.com Resolution Center
  • Vrbo support system
